Realme UI Stable Update Is Available For Realme 3 Pro

After months of teasing and beta testing, Realme has finally released  Realme UI update to the public. The first device to get it is none other than Realme 3 Pro, which was chosen by the company initially for beta besting earlier last year. The update is being rolled out in a staged manner and hence it might take time to hit every unit.

Realme started as a sub-brand of Oppo to take on Xiaomi in India’s smartphone market. Hence, since the beginning, the brand’s phones have been using ColorOS. But in less than a year, Realme became an independent brand and revealed plans for its own UI. Since that announcement, the brand’s CEO Madhav Sheth has been teasing their UI and its features for a very long time. A couple of months back, he even confirmed that it will be based on ColorOS but will have looks close to the stock Android.

Later, when ColorOS 7 was announced by Oppo India, Realme too shared its timeline for Realme UI update based on Android 10 for its lineup. According to that the Realme 3 Pro and Realme XT were slated to receive the update first in January. And now, as promised, the brand has started staged rollout of the update to Realme 3 Pro. The new update comes with build number RMX1851EX_11_C.01 and brings a lot of changes over ColorOS 6.

Some of the new features include 3-Fingerprint Gesture, Android 10 Gestures, Gestures in landscape mode, Focus Mode, new ambient system sounds similar to MIUI, icon customization, Simple Mode, Random MAC address Generator, Dual Mode Music Share, and much more. Anyways, according to the company, only certain Realme 3 Pro users will be receiving the update starting today. Based upon their feedback, it will be rolled out to everyone in the coming days if and only there are no critical bugs.
