Samsung Could Expand Its Samsung Pay Service In 2020
Back in 2015, Samsung introduced its mobile payment and digital wallet service dubbed Samsung Pay to the consumer. Since then, the service has continuously been improved to provide better mobile payment solutions to the users. The service is already available in 26 countries across the globe and it seems like the brand might add more to the list next year. The Samsung Pay rollout has already dropped significantly in 2019 with just one country added to the list this year. For those who’re unaware, the chaebol introduced its mobile payment solution in Indonesia this year.
As per the recent report by SamMobile, the smartphone maker is planning to expand the service to more regions in 2020. Furthermore, the report mentions that the company has, in fact, focus more on consumer experience this year. The brand is expected to share information on the improved experience next year as well. Samsung Pay has seen numerous additions this year which include virtual prepaid cards, wallet integrations, international transfers and many more.
As you might expect, there is no information on which countries the company might expand its service. The same goes with the new sets of features that the company might introduce next year. It is worth mentioning that the Samsung Pay is the company’s most successful and popular app and service out of dozens. Earlier this year, the mobile payment service managed to boast 14 million active users in South Korea.
